The West Bengal Health Recruitment Board invites Online Applications from eligible Candidates for the recruitment to 971 posts of Medical Technologists in Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal. Interested Candidates may apply Online from 17th February, 2014 to 10th March, 2014. The Eligibility criteria, Application fee, selection process and other details are available below.

2. Medical Technologist [X-Ray(Radiodiagnostics)] Gr. III : 208 posts
3. Medical Technologist (ECG) Gr. III : 45 posts
Eligibility Criteria :
Educational Qualifications : Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination or it’s equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology and a two Year diploma course in relevant discipline recognized in the govt of West Bengal.
Age Limit : Candidates age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years as on 01st January, 2014.Age limit relaxable by 5 years for SC and ST candidates of West Bengal, by 3 years for BC candidates of West Bengal.
Selection Process : The recruitment will be made by selection but where a large number of applications are received, as a result of Advertisement, the Board may, for the purpose of short-listing, hold a preliminary examination.
Pay Scale : Rs. 7,100 to Rs. 37,600, [PB 3, Grade Pay – Rs. 3600/-].
Application Fee : Candidates have to submit the Application fee of Rs. 160 only either by Net Banking or offline through Bank counter in any branch of banks participating in the GRIPS, govt of WB through duplicate challan.
Note : SC/ST/Physically disabled candidates are not required to pay any fees.
How to Apply : Candidates would be requested to register their applications through Online mode using WB web portal at :www.wbhrd.in before 10th March, 2014. Candidates are not required to send any hard copy of Application form.
