UPSC Recruitment 2014 - Latest Opening for Engineer post in UPSC

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) invites Online Recruitment Applications (ORA) for recruitment by selection to theEngineer & Ship Surveyor cum Deputy Director General (Technical) post . Interested Candidates Can apply through Online mode by using the website www.upsconline.nic.in on or before 11th March, 2014. The eligibility criteria, selection process and other details are provided below.

Eligibility Criteria for Engineer & Director post :

Age Limit : Candidates age doesn't exceed 50 years . The age is relaxable for SC/ST/PH candidates up to 5 years and up to 3 years for OBC Candidates.


Educational Qualification : Candidates should have obtained Certificate of competency of marine Engineer Officer Class-I (Steam and Motor or Combined Steam and Motor) as specified in section 78 of the Merchant Shipping Act-1958 (44 of 1958) or equivalent as specified in section 86 of the said Act.


Pay Scale : Rs. 15,600 to Rs. 39,100(PB-3) + Grade Pay of Rs. 7600/-.
