Central board of secondary education (CBSE) is going to conducts its teacher eligibility test named, Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for determining the eligibility of the candidates to work as teacher in Primary Level Teachers nd and Junior Level Teachers in Government schools.The candidates those are interested to appoint as teacher in CBSE School, must qualify the CTET examination . The CTET exam held two times in a year. So the candidates those are interested to apply for the CTET February 2014 Examination, should read the full details and apply via Online mode on or before the last date. Eligibility Criteria For CBSE CTET 2014 Exam :-
CTET is held for two papers. Viz Paper-! and Paper-2. The first paper is for those candidates who want to work as Primary Level Teachers (Class 1 to 5) and the second paper is for those candidates who want to work as Junior Level Teacher (Class 6 to 8 ). So first choose your qualification and apply according to your qualification.
Exam Papers Are :-
Class I to V Teachers :
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.
OR
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of two year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
Class VI to VIII Teachers :
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed/B.Sc.Ed.

Application Fee :
For Paper I or II Separately :
If the candidates want to apply for only one paper the they have to pay the below given fee.
The General and OBC Candidates have to pay Rs. 500/-. for each paper and for the SC/ST/PWD Candidates the fee is Rs. 250/-.
For Both Paper I & II :
The candidates who will apply for both the paper 1 and paper 2 have to pay the fee as mentioned below
The General and OBC Candidates will pay Rs. 800/- for both paper and the SC/ST/PWD Candidates will pay only Rs. 400/- for both papers.
NOTE: The application fee can be paid Through Challan by deposit of prescribed fees in CBSE Account with Syndicate Bank or e-Post Office in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi. By Debit/Credit Card.
Selection Process :
Candidates will be selected on the basis of marks obtained in Written Exam.
